5 TIPS FOR REGROWING EYEBROWS

Whether you’ve over plucked, damaged or simply have sparse brows we have a few quick steps that can really help you get a thicker, fuller brow. To get brows that rival Cara Delevingne’s, first you have to put down the tweezers!

1  Stop plucking or waxing

This may be the hardest step. We get into patterns and its tough to break them. You can’t even pluck those stray hairs outside the brow line. By stopping plucking or waxing, this will allow your hairs time to grow back. Eventually, you will want to clean the stray hairs, but in the first step, it is best to pack away the tweezers and not take them out until there has been amble brow growth.

2  Use a brow enhancer or serum (like Wink)

Just stopping plucking or waxing may not be enough. If you started pulling at those hairs in the 90s (like we did, admittedly), then some of the hairs along the brow may be stuck in a dormant phase of hair growth. To kick start hair growth, it is essential to use a brow serum, like Wink, to help push the hairs from a sleeping stage to an active growing phase. Wink uses natural fatty acids which help to move resting hair follicles into a growth mode while nourishing existing brows so that you don’t lose more hair. Wink also helps to grow lashes and is the best 100% natural option out there.

4 Get Your Vitamins

While topically applying a hair restoration serum, like Wink, to brows will help, it is also beneficial to take vitamins. Many prenatal vitamins contain ingredients such as vitamin E and omega-3s that help promote hair growth. Biotin, niacin and other b-complex vitamins are great for improving hair texture and growth.

Taking vitamins can definitely help, but it is also important to make sure you are eating a diet rich in vitamins and nutrients as well since that will promote healthy hair growth. Some people absorb nutrients better from foods than from a multivitamin. Along with the vitamins mentioned above, protein, magnesium, vitamin A and D also help to promote healthy hair growth. Foods rich in Vitamin D include: Fatty fish, like tuna, mackerel, and salmon as well as cheese, eggs, orange juice, soy milk, and cereals. Foods rich in vitamin A include: Orange and yellow vegetables and fruits as well as eggs, broccoli, spinach, and most dark green, leafy vegetables.

4 Exfoliate the brows and surrounding skin

Exfoliating the skin around the eyebrows can help to remove any dead skin, as well as help to bring hairs to the surface. We recommend that you use something gentle and be sure to protect eyes from any possible damage. Try using a toothbrush with soft bristles or a gentle brush to massage and exfoliate the brow area and control where you’r applying the exfoliation material.

5  Optimize your brow shape

Once your brows have finally made their comeback, it is important to shape them so that they best suit your face. Remember your brows are meant to frame your eyes, so they should fit with your eyes, but not necessarily with the matching eyebrow. When shaping your brows, the tools can make all the difference. You won’t want to pluck hairs that stick out, but rather trim them so they can fit into your brow’s shape. Using brow-sized scissors will make a difference here! Don’t be afraid to use powders and gels to get perfect brow shape.

Growing out your brows can feel like a long, excruciating process, but don’t get discouraged. Some stylists and makeup artists recommend not plucking for a year, but if you combine these steps with using Wink, you should start to see brow growth in as little as two weeks. Put down the tweezers, and pick up Wink. Those trendy full brows will be yours in no time!
