Top-Notch Women’s Beauty Tips: Six Things to Know About Lash Lift Kits

Many women are unhappy with their eyelashes, mostly because they are too thin, too short, or both.
Fortunately, today’s technologically advanced world has developed numerous solutions to these
problems, and one of them is a lash lift kit. The kits contain everything you need for the perfect lash
improvement job, but before you rush out and buy one, there are some things that you should know
about them. These include the following:

  1. The Way They Work Is Simple
If you get your lashes professionally “lifted,” the technician will use a type of curling rod to semi-
permanently curl your lashes, then apply a type of gel to the lashes to keep them curled until your next
visit. If you use a kit, the process works much the same way except that you’ll be performing the steps
yourself. Make sure you read the instructions so that you perform each step correctly. They’ll also tell
you how long your lashes will stay curled until you have to do it all over again.
  2. A Lot of Things Can Affect How Long Your Lashes Stay Curled
People’s hair, including their eyelashes, grows at different rates, so it’s difficult to confirm just how long
your eyelashes will stay curled, whether you use a lash lift kit or have your lashes professionally done.
That being said, you can count on keeping your lashes up to six weeks in most cases, which is a long time
    to have gorgeous lashes.
  3. There Are Things That You Can Do to Keep Your Curly Eyelashes Longer
Curled eyelashes naturally look longer and therefore more attractive, and with a lash lift, there are
things you can do to increase the odds that they’ll stay that way much longer. These include avoiding
mascara and water for the first 24 hours, using only oil-free products on your face, sleeping on your back
and not face down for the first 24 hours, and avoiding products such as creams and serums on your
lashes for at least 24 hours. All of these things can help your lashes look great for a longer period of
    time.
  4. You Can Still Wear Mascara After You Get a Lash Lift
You may think that after a lash lift, you’ll never be able to wear mascara again, but that is not the case.
In fact, using mascara after your lash lift complements the procedure, but this only applies if you’ve
waited at least 24 hours after the procedure is completed. Using anything on your eyelashes, including
mascara, within the first 24 hours is a huge no-no and can actually “undo” the lift and make your lashes
straight again. If you’ve gotten your lashes done professionally, which can cost around $100, this can be
    disheartening.
  5. You Can’t Be Too Careful When Performing Your Lash Lift
For the most part, using an over-the-counter lash lift kit is just as safe as having a technician perform the
procedure, but this is only the case if you’re careful. You must read the instructions thoroughly and
perform each step exactly as directed in those instructions. If you don’t, the chemicals used in the product may burn your eyelids and even cause the lashes to become brittle or hard if you end up using too much.
  6. Always Know the Risks Associated with a Lash Lift
It’s super important to use your lash lift product correctly and to know how it can hurt you if you don’t.
Using your lash lift products incorrectly can result in harm to your cornea, burning on the eyelids and
the area underneath the eye, dry eyes, puffiness, and even an allergic reaction, which is not that
    common but always a possibility.
